Telephone system in the County Jail System.
I was amazed to see that the County commissioner can make a decision, expect for one, when it comes time to help the people of Comanche county. I do not know why one would vote against a better product that gives the county more features and a return on your investment. Perhaps the one was getting more return then others. What ever the reason he did not vote for the new telephone system is beyond me. I think it is time for Ron Kirby to step aside and let some one manage Comanche county for the people. I do not understand what his thinking was, if at all, during the vote of the new telephone system. IF the sheriff can see something positive that is a big step. Once again, if you have to carry the hunting dog to the hunt, it is time to shoot the dog.

If you attended the county board meetings this morning-17 Sept... you will have heard of county commissioners voting approval for the awarding of a contract to the new company. Kirby was not present due to illness but his deputy was and she voted no and made the statement she was explicitly ordered by Krby to vote no for the awarding of this contract. Now folks.. think about this.. here we are a year after a contract was awarded to a company who was not paying the county what it was before plus loads of other malfunctions in its operations and our 2 other commissioners were not aware of this?..PLus the fact the county legal advisor stated in open meeting the previous contract did not meet state requirements..... geez... where was he when that contract was awarded?.... Sure seems funny... but guess when you have "central command" no one needs know since the big boss hog is in charge...never mind the law clearly states the county shall be governed by all 3 county commissioners. ... or maybe it is because of the club these three belong to that only one is in "command"... guess we just foregt about ethics etc here anymore and do as Kirby commands since you people will be voting for him again and again
