Election Resultsby DeputyAs expected voter turnout was extremely low. With that being said we applaud the voters of Wards 3 & 4 for the strong showing and for voting. It is a time to change. We offer our congratulations to Councilwoman Drewery and to Councilman-elect Burk. Again the city will have to suffer through the rants of Councilman Shanklin for another three years. Though discouraged by the outcome of the race, we are glad to see that Garrett Jackson, had a strong showing. Time will tell what the next three years will hold. It is doubtful that much will change with Mr. Shanklin where we would ever offer our endorsement. On a final thought, We would like to thank Mr. Keith Jackson for his service to our community and to this website. We would like to wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors whatever they may be. The Deputy
