On July 29th voters will go to the poles to vote on the Comanche County Court Clerk.
Robert Morales was appointed Court Clerk by the County Commisioners to replace retiring Court Clerk Joan Williams. Since taking office Robert has been able to show the leadership needed to run an office such as the Court Clerks office. He has gained the respect of the girls in the office as well as the Attorneys that do business with the office. The First Deputy Melissa Jones and Second Deputy Connie Niedermeier ( combined experience of 29 years) as well as many other girls in the office have been working extremely hard in support for Robert to insure we keep him as the Court Clerk.

Robert began his career serving the public in 1972 as a Patrolman for the Lawton Police Department serving 7 years of service. In 1979 he began a 28 year career with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol where he climbed the ranks from Trooper to Field Supervisor. After retiring from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Robert served in Drivers Compliance with the Department of Public Safety wher he conducted hearings on driving privileges, counseling indeviduals on chronic driving offenses, and prepared case documentation for prosecuting attorneys. He also conducted safety programs for schools and various civic groups.

His background and experience in Law Enforcement and Public Service, combined with his knowledge of the Court System made Robert Morales the right choice for Comanche County Court Clerk. The Board of Commisioners appointed Robert from five candidates to the position in 2007.

With all of these achievements combined with the support of the girls in the office, I believe Robert Morales is the right choice for Court Clerk on July 29th.
