New Office Equipment...by RobertH ()Does it seems strange to you that the police department and the fire marshall would buy new office furniture by buying the furniture on several visits to a local retail store. The police department spent over $6,000.00 and each purchase was under $500.00 so that the furniture would not have to go out on bid. The fire marshall spent over $2,000.00 using the same method. Sounds like abuse of the bid process to me! |
