Good Ol' DHSby JohnnySpotI have had several complaints about DHS (Dept of Human Services) Child Protective Services division. It seems that DHS is going around to care givers of this country's service members (Soldiers) and threatening to take the children away and put the care giver in jail if they don't go get the training and certification for Daycares. The military have what is called a "Family Care Plan" which in part gives an individual/s the same rights and powers as the parent. Basically it is a Power of attorney giving as little as basic care-giving to full custodial rights in the absence of the parent. This Family Care Plan is a Federal Document and is prepared by JAG on Fort Sill and other installations. It is pure chicken shit to harass care-givers who are taking care of our military's children while they are protecting our country!!
